This tom turkey -- unaware of the approaching holiday -- is being weighed in
by Paul Bowersox, a poultry worker at University Park. The bird weighed in
at a hefty 34 pounds. Bowersox is helping to prepare turkeys for the annual sale of the
birds by the Poultry Science Club. Orders for turkeys will be taken until Nov. 20.
