Ready for students
The new Biomedical Technology Center
at Penn State Fayette has opened and students
will begin using the $5.3 million education facility when fall classes resume
on Aug. 24.
The 28,000-square-foot building, a state-of-the-art structure that includes
multi-use,
cross-discipline classrooms and laboratories, houses nursing, chemistry, biology,
physics
and earth sciences. The building also houses a 135-seat general science lecture
hall, a
classroom and a greenhouse. The center was designed by Altman & Altman Architects
of
Uniontown. The project was funded through a state appropriation. For more pictures

new building, go to the Web at http://www.fe.psu.edu/news/bmt0599/.
