Making his rounds
Greg Weaver, an employee of the Penn State Parking Office
at University Park, uses a collection computer to read the contents of a
parking meter in the HUB parking deck, above, before opening and emptying
it, right.
The University currently has more than 300 long-term parking meters (up to eight hours); about 55 one-hour meters; and close to 60 short-term (40 minutes or less) parking meters in various parking decks and lots across the campus.
