World Campus observes successful inaugural
year
Penn State's World Campus is celebrating its first-year anniversary this
spring with 500 students enrolled, the introduction of several new programs
and accolades from participants and instructors.
Jesse Jackson to visit University Park
The Rev. Jesse Jackson will give a public address in Eisenhower Auditorium
on the University Park campus at 8 p.m. Monday, March 29.
Outreach initiative could be model for state
A Penn State Outreach and Cooperative Extension Center will be opened in
Lewistown as part of a pilot program University officials hope will become
a model for improving lifelong learning opportunities for other areas across
the state.
THON breaks record
THON, the largest student-run philanthropy in the nation, again surpassed
fund-raising goals to benefit families of children with cancer and for cancer
research.
