Generational study looks at attitudes toward
college
A recent look across three generations of Penn State graduates shows that
not only would these graduates again choose Penn State, but the University
seems to have prepared them well for life.

In a push toward a better work environment, the Commission for Women over
the past year called together several groups of female staff members to
discuss the issues facing them. Through the use of focus groups, the commission
is hoping to find a solution to some of the obstacles and challenges staff
confront at Penn State.
State's attorney general gives nod to merger
of Hershey and Geisinger
The state's attorney general in early December announced he does not plan
to oppose the merger of Hershey and Geisinger medical centers since the
new Penn State Geisinger Health System has added more than 340,000 subscribers
from four separate managed care plans to its rolls.
Celebrating the memory of Martin Luther King Jr.
In remembrance of Martin Luther King Jr., several Penn State locations are
holding events to commemorate his life and accomplishments.
