Provost John A. Brighton recalled four decades of Penn State
history for a crowd of about 450 people recently at The Nittany
Lion Inn. Brighton, who is retiring June 30 as executive vice
president and provost, discussed his observations about Penn
State in his talk, titled "The Changing University: 40 Years,
One Coach, Five Presidents," which was the last lecture
of the year in the Penn State Forum series.
