A book recently published by the Penn State Press moves the story of Pennsylvania's role in the American Revolution beyond Philadelphia, well known as a center of activities related to the Revolution, across the state to the north and west.
Beyond Philadelphia: The American Revolution in the Pennsylvania Hinterland was edited by John B. Frantz, associate professor of history, and William Pencak, professor of history.

Jeremy F. Plant, professor of public policy and administration at Penn State Harrisburg, has co-authored two books on railroads: Lehigh Valley Volume Three, with Richard T.
