Penn State and the University of Pittsburgh may be long-time rivals on the football field, but when it comes to meeting the educational needs of Pennsylvania's workforce, they've come together as a team.
A partnership between Penn State Altoona and the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown is bringing a variety of workforce development educational programs to the greater Johnstown region.
Pitt's Johnstown campus is providing the facilities, and each partner is contributing faculty and instructional materials. Together, the two universities are offering courses that address the specific needs of working people in southcentral Pennsylvania.
