Plan to attend State of the University
Address
President Graham B. Spanier will highlight the
accomplishments of the past year and provide a glimpse of Penn State's long-range
plan in his annual State of the University address, set for Friday, Sept. 8.
Dissertations
to have worldwide visibility
This fall Penn State doctoral students will be
able to prepare and submit their dissertations in digital format via the Web
-- making the documents accessible to researchers around the world.
Upgrade
will boost speed of campus Internet connections
The University has contracted Adelphia Business
Solutions to provide higher capacity communication circuits to serve Penn State
campuses. The change will help the University
to meet the increasing demand for telecommunications service from its campuses.
