Sloan Foundation renews its support
to World Campus
The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation has awarded a
$1 million grant to Penn State in support of its World Campus, the University's
online distance learning program. The grant recognizes Penn State's leadership
in developing and delivering innovative and high-quality educational programs
that meet the needs of learners that would not otherwise have access to a
campus-based program. Enrollment in the World Campus is approaching 3,000.
