United Way Web site
up and running 
Though the official start of the Penn State United Way Campaign is not until October, the campaign Web site is now up and running at http://www.psu.edu/ur/events/unitedway/.
The Department of University Relations designed the site in conjunction with the Centre County United Way. It features events that will run throughout the year, information for the Day of Caring, general information regarding the campaign and links to other relevant sites.
The Web site is a key element in running this year's campaign. Faculty and staff are able to see the schedule of events, which will be updated t hroughout the campaign. Particularly useful links are to the unit-sponsored events calendar and Day of Caring. The calendar not only lists the time, date and place of each event, but also includes a contact information. The Day of Caring link includes information about this year's event, as well as contact information for anyone interested in volunteering.
