Organization seminar

Jackie Esposito and Robyn Dyke, the University's Records Management team, will offer a free 90-minute seminar on record organization on four fall Thursdays in the Mann Assembly Room, 103 Paterno Library, on the University Park campus.

Esposito and Dyke will explain the details of University policy AD-35 as well as teach how to use the retention schedules (General Forms Usage Guide Appendices 18 and 21). They will provide time-saving tips for organizing and coordinating records using color coding, date stamping and subject identifiers. In addition, they will discuss the advantages of storage in the Inactive Records Center and the University Archives.

The seminar is scheduled for 9 to 10:30 a.m. Sept. 12, Oct. 10, Nov. 14 and Dec. 12. Registration required. E-mail Esposito at jxe2@psu.edu or Dyke at rdc@psulias.psu.edu with the preferred date.
