Eberly seeks
department head

The Eberly College of Science invites applications and nominations for the position of head of the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics.

Candidates for the position should have a distinguished record of research and teaching, and should have demonstrated superior administrative or leadership skills, qualifying them to play a key role in the further development of the department.

Applications and nominations will be reviewed beginning April 17 and should be sent to Myra Bowling, Dean's Office, Eberly College of Science, 512 Thomas Building, University Park, PA 16802. The information also may be e-mailed to mlb1@psu.edu.
