David Gissen, assistant professor of architecture in the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, is the curator of an ongoing exhibit titled "Big and Green: Towards Sustainable Architecture in the 21st Century," on display at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. The exhibition explores the ways environmentalist architects are rethinking international architectural development. The exhibit runs through June 22.

Dennis Hiltunen, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering, has been named the national president of Chi Epsilon, the National Civil Engineering Honor Society.  

Martin Kilduff, professor of organizational behavior, has been appointed associate editor of Administrative Science Quarterly. The journal focuses on advancing the understanding of administration through empirical investigation and theoretical analysis.

Gerald C. Lauchle, professor of acoustics, has been named vice president for technical activities for the Institute of Noise Control Engineering. Lauchle's appointment will last for three years.
