"Bolshoi," the Russian word for "Big," defines the Bolshoi Ballet. More than 200 years old, it consists of more than 200 artists and includes a huge school that provides a constant flow of new talent. The ensemble is known for massive endeavors and bold effects.

Fyodor Lopukov, one of the most significant figures in Soviet ballet after the Revolution, wrote that in the Bolshoi Ballet can be seen "the strength of the Russian national character and the power of Russian visual art."

Accompanied by a 50-piece symphony, the stars of the Bolshoi Ballet will perform highlights from classical works, including the Don Quixote Suite and La Bayadere (Act II). This will be the Bolshoi Ballet's sole performance in Pennsylvania as well as the entire Mid-Atlantic Region.

Arc enhances the lives of all persons with developmental disabilities and their families, and provides the highest quality of service in the least restrictive environment.
