9-8-97
University Park, Pa. --- Penn State is hosting an invited Workshop on Climate Change Impacts in the Mid-Atlantic Region, Sept. 9-11 in the Nittany Lion Inn.

The workshop will focus on the Chesapeake and Delaware Bay watersheds and aims to explore climate change issues within the region. The workshop will include poster sessions, workshop sessions and working lunches. A broad range of research and stakeholders have been invited from the federal, state and local governments; universities and laboratories; industry, agriculture and natural resource managers; non-government organizations and others.

A public lecture will be given by Joel Scheraga, director of Climate And Policy Assessment Division of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 10 in room 26 Hosler Building on the University Park campus.
