Green Engineering Focus Of Conference

University Park, PA -- "Green Design Concepts for the 21st Century," the Fourth Penn State Green Design Conference will take place on Sunday, April 20 in the Nittany Lion Inn Boardroom on the Penn State University Park Campus.

William Coperwaite, social designer and president, Yurt Foundation will present, "Designing With a Conscience," as the keynote at noon. Coby Shear, consultant, First Environment Corporation, will present "The Green Design of Corporations." Other sessions will include a pollution prevention poster session and an interactive presentation by Barbara Anderson Siebert, director, Center for Sustainability and Christopher Uhl, associate professor Biology on "Penn State Sustainable Indicators Project."

The conference is sponsored by CE477, The Leonhard Center, The Center for Sustainability and the Pennsylvania Space Grant Consortium.
