Satellite Coordinates For President Spanier's State Of University Address

Penn State President Spanier will give his second State of the University Address in Eisenhower Auditorium on the University Park campus from 4 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6. You are invited to attend or to receive the address by satellite, which will be broadcast live by WPSX-TV.

The downlink information to receive the address is as follows.

Transponder -- 9A
Downlink frequency -- 11956
Polarity -- vertical

WPSX-TV will conduct a test from 3:30 to 4 p.m., if you would like to setup your equipment ahead of time. Dr. Spanier is expected to begin his address promptly at 4 p.m.

WPSX-TV, channel 3, will broadcast the full address at 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, for those in the central Pennsylvania listening area who are unable to attend.
