VETERANS
HONORED
The
Penn State Veterans Organization honored all veterans of the
U.S. military on the steps of Old Main at noon today (Nov. 9,
2001). The list of speakers included state Sen. Jake Corman,
R-Bellefonte, and local military leaders. In addition, there
was a rifle salute by the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. Below
are photos of the event, taken by Greg Grieco.

Rob
Coughlin, one of the speakers at the Veteran's Day service on
the Old Main steps at University Park, reminds people to send
photos of members of the armed services who died while in the
service to their local Kinko's. The photos will be used as part
of a virtural wall of remembrance. |
A 21-gun salute by the Pennsylvania
Air National Guard ended the service.
