Gathering. There will be an open microphone for anyone who wishes to
speak. A moment of silence will be followed by a bagpipe postlude. The
campus also is erecting a Remembrance Wall in Graham Lobby for students
to hang items such as photos, poems, etc.

9:25, 9:45 and 10:03 a.m. Sept. 11: Hayfield House chimes will toll
four times each at the times of the four plane crashes. Everyone on
campus will observe a moment of silence at this time.

Sept. 11, flagpole in front of Hayfield House: Students, faculty
and staff will convene for brief comments by CEO Mary Hines and Jonathan
Sinclair, student government president. Students will be given red,
white and blue carnations which will be laid at the flagpole at the
end of ceremony. A student will play TAPS and chimes will toll again
to mark the end of the ceremony. Light refreshments will follow.
