Dear Penn State Web Professional: The forms linked from the bottom of the page will serve as presentation proposal submissions for the Penn State Web 2008 Conference, scheduled for Monday, June 9, 2008, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel at University Park. In addition, we are also in the process of planning Conference Tutorials for Tuesday, June 10, 2008 in the Business Building. This year, poster presentation proposals will be accepted concurrently with the session and tutorial proposals. In our continuing efforts to improve the conference, we have developed additional features to assist our presenters, including presenter guidelines. You are invited to submit a proposal if (1) you are interested in presenting, or (2) you would like to nominate another person or group who you believe is qualified, capable and willing to present. Please submit only one proposal at a time via this form. If you wish to submit multiple proposals, please complete a separate form for each submission. Though this conference is designed for Web professionals in the Penn State community, the Program committee will gladly entertain nominations for presenters from outside the Penn State system. The deadline for conference session and tutorial proposals is Monday, December 10, 2007. The deadline for poster proposals is Monday, March 28, 2008. Our recent conference topic survey results indicated strong interest in the following areas listed, however the call for proposals is open to all Web related areas, including but not limited to the following: Web content, development/management, Web design, programming, accessibility, usability, CSS, and security. Thank you for your time and interest in making the Penn State Web Conference a continued success. Sincerely, The Web 2008
