2001 Presenters: Jeff
Hermann
Jeff Hermann
is the university editor and director of publications at Penn State.
He manages a staff of writers, editors, designers, photographers, and
customer service personnel. He is responsible for administering the
University's publications and identity programs and for oversight of
Web design for Penn State's 24 campuses.
Jeff has over
30 years experience in the marketing and communication field. Prior
to working at Penn State, Jeff has worked in the art department of a
large Philadelphia printing company, taught at a community college,
was Assistant Director of Publications at the University of Rochester;
Director of Publications at Temple University, and at Syracuse University.
He received
a Bachelor's degree in communication design from Temple University's
Tyler School of Art, and a Master's degree in communication design from
Rochester Institute of Technology. He is also a frequent speaker at
various national and regional conferences.
