Web 2001 Presenters: Jim Vuccolo
Jim Vuccolo is a Lead Research Programmer in the UNIX Systems Group of the Center for Academic Computing's Advanced Information Technology Group. He is responsible for the software design and development of the Penn State Student Portal. He is involved in with CACTUS, LDAP and digital library.
Jim has over 15 years of software design and development experience. Prior to working at Penn State, Jim was a Senior Engineer at Raytheon Systems Corporation, State College.
He received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Lock Haven University.
Jim is co-presenting two sessions: Building a Portal Framework: The Penn State Student Portal Project and Getting Your Content in the Penn State Student Portal.
