Web 2001 Presenters: Bill Welsh

Bill Welsh is the director of the Office for Disability Services at University Park, where he is part of a team of Disability Specialists who provide services to all students with disabilities at Penn State. Previously, Bill was the Director of Disability Services at Drexel University, Phila., PA and Burlington County Community College, New Jersey. He has been involved in several national disability-related organizations. Bill chaired a nationally-organized committee on bringing electronic textbooks to all students with disabilities. He has also been instrumental in updating Penn Stateís assistive and adaptive technology. Bill has presented at numerous national and local conferences in the areas of universally designed classroom and instructional facilities, disability legal issues, assistive and adaptive technology, and the best practices in higher educational disability services offices.

Bill is co-presenting the session on Technology for Better Accessibility.
