Spend a Summer Day puts you in the heart of Penn State’s vibrant student life, dynamic academic programs, and a community of world-renowned faculty.
Your First Stop
Check-in runs from 8:30 to 11 a.m.
When you arrive, check in at Gate B of the Bryce Jordan Center, just a short walk from the parking lots. Visit the Welcome Desk, grab a schedule and campus map, and get ready to head out to your first activity. Penn State Tour Guides and staff will help get you started!
We recommend bringing water, sunscreen, an umbrella, and maybe a bag for your personal belongings. A variety of eateries are available on campus.
Getting Around
Walking is most common, and campus buses are available.
If you’re driving to campus, route your GPS to “Beaver Stadium” or “Bryce Jordan Center” at Penn State University Park. Parking is available in the Jordan East and Stadium West parking lots.
During the day, you can walk around campus or hop on a campus bus. Campus is not accessible by driving. We'll help you use the campus maps and bus routes—so you're not wandering into a chemistry lab when you were aiming for a dining hall!
