ABINGTON Pa. — More than 360 Penn State Abington students discovered the benefits of study abroad and faculty-led embedded courses along with sampling international food, entertainment and activities at the annual Global Engagement Fair. The campus Office of Global Programs shared information on education abroad and scholarship opportunities for students interested in these experiences.

Abington expects almost 200 of its students to study away this academic year, heading to destinations that include Germany, Scotland, Japan, Ghana and Croatia. One embedded course will take students to Puerto Rico to explore sustainability issues on the island.

Information also was available for faculty about global development opportunities, such as faculty grants for internationalization of the curriculum and faculty-led embedded Fulbright opportunities.
