ABINGTON, Pa. — Penn State Abington invites all prospective students and their families to Spend a Summer Day at the Abington campus to learn more about Penn State.
The events will focus on the admissions process, financial aid timeline, student life, athletics, and the more than 275 degree options that are available for students. Tours of the campus also will be offered.
"Take advantage of visiting and get to know the campus culture," said Alexia Brewster, admissions counselor at Abington.
The annual program will be held on:
- Thursday, July 11: Spend A Summer Day at 10 a.m.
- Saturday, July 20: Spend A Summer Day at 10 a.m.
- Wednesday, July 24: Spend A Summer Evening at 5 p.m.
- Tuesday, Aug. 6: Meet The Coaches (Spend A Summer Evening) at 5 p.m.
"Visits are an important component of college decision-making," said Tom Kelly, admissions counselor. "We are here to build relationships with students and lay the groundwork for their education."
