CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Penn State Lehigh Valley students are invited to attend an etiquette dinner at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, at Lehigh Country Club in Allentown. A diverse group of Penn State alumni will be seated with students to provide advice on professional networking and formal dining etiquette for future business lunches and dinners that students may attend during internships or in their careers.
Special guest speaker Dorlisa Goodrich Young, founder of the Delaware Valley School of Etiquette, will speak about the value of proper dining etiquette during the event.
Young is a Certified Children’s Etiquette Consultant professionally trained by the American School of Protocol in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Spelman College in Atlanta, as well as a master of science in publishing from Pace University in New York. With more than 15 years serving in positions at several top publishing companies, Young has had a myriad of opportunities to refine and exhibit proper etiquette skills while attending brunches, luncheons, tea, dinners, receptions and special presentations.
