UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State hospitality management students are organizing an event that will tantalize your taste buds while benefiting the Centre County United Way.

“Raise A Glass For Good," a wine-tasting and cooking demonstration event, will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2, at Café Laura, located in Mateer Building at Penn State University Park.

Participants of legal drinking age can enjoy featured entrees prepared by three professional chefs from Penn State Campus Dining and wine provided by Happy Valley Winery.

Organized by students in the Penn State School of Hospitality Management course Advanced Meetings and Events Management, “Raise A Glass For Good” is meant to increase awareness and support for the efforts of the Centre County United Way, which seeks to promote the health, education and financial stability of every person in Centre County.

The proceeds will directly benefit the Centre County United Way and its partner agencies.

Each ticket includes small served portion of each of the three chef-prepared entrees, appetizers and dessert, as well as a glass of wine and 4 wine-tasting samples for those of legal drinking age. There will be a cash bar to purchase wine.
