UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Applications are now being accepted to take part in the 2017 Penn State LeaderShape Institute May 8-13 at Camp Blue Diamond, in Rothrock State Forest near State College and Altoona.
Penn State students can apply online until March 1 at tinyurl.com/leadershape2017; applicants will be notified of their participation in the LeaderShape Institute shortly after Spring Break.
The LeaderShape Institute is an intensive, energizing, and unique six-day educational experience, designed to offer students the opportunity to think bigger and develop a healthy disregard for the impossible.
While most of the curriculum is intentionally left vague to invite students to dive in and be present with the people around them, it is anchored to four themes: community, inclusivity, integrity and vision. Over six days participants will set out to discover their most deeply held values, greatest passions and how they come together to create something bigger than themselves.
