UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The deadline to place a spring 2017 end-of-semester transcript order is 11:59 p.m. (EST) on May 7. End-of-semester transcript orders are those with a requested processing time of “Hold for Grades” or “Hold for Degree.” These requests will be held until all spring 2017 end-of-semester processes are completed, including final grade reporting and degree conferral, so that the appropriate end-of-semester notations are included on the published transcripts.
Any transcript order with a processing time of “Hold for Grades” or “Hold for Degree” received after the May 7 deadline will be held until the end of the 2017 summer sessions, which begin May 8.
Orders placed prior to May 8 with a processing time of "Hold for Grades" or "Hold for Degree" will be processed by the following dates:
Hold for Grades
- May 19: Undergraduate/Graduate, and Medical Careers
- June 9: Law Career
Hold for Degree
- May 26: Undergraduate/Graduate, and Medical Careers
- June 16: Law Career
What to do if you miss the spring 2017 deadline
If a student wishes to order a spring 2017 end-of-semester transcript but misses the May 7 deadline, it is advised that you wait until May 26 to order an undergraduate, graduate, or medical career transcript or wait until June 16 to order a law career transcript. This is to ensure that all spring 2017 end-of-semester information is included on the ordered transcript. These orders can be placed with a requested processing time of “Now.”
If students do not wait to place an order with a processing time of “Now,” their transcript will be sent as-is, and may not include the following spring 2017 information: final grades, dean's list, academic distinction and degree conferral. Before placing a transcript order, current students can view their advising transcript in LionPATH to ensure that all spring 2017 end-of-semester notations are included. In the event of an erroneous order, students will be responsible for having to reorder their transcript, once the end-of-semester processing has been finalized.
