All members of the public and the campus community are invited to see what Penn State DuBois students and faculty have discovered through their research efforts this year, at the eighth annual Faculty and Student Research Symposium. The symposium is scheduled for 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, in various rooms on the second floor of the DEF Building at Penn State DuBois.

The event will feature lectures on a wide-range of disciplines including business, engineering, forestry, women in developing countries, human development and family studies, and English. Featured speakers include Penn State DuBois Chancellor Melanie Hatch, Linda Miner Bryan, campus alumna and author of the book "Anits Township Moon," as well as Wesley McMasters, a campus alumnus and emerging author. Numerous faculty members and students will also make presentations on their work.
