Fall Career Days workshops prepare students for career events

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Students are encouraged to attend Fall Career Days Workshops available from Sept. 5-11. These programs are designed to get students ready for Fall Career Days on Sept. 12-14. The workshops help students not only navigate the three-day career fair, but also prepare for success.

“With over 10,400 student attendees last year and more than 300 employers registered for this year, Fall Career Days can be very overwhelming for students looking for internships or jobs,” said Ashley Citarella, assistant director of strategic management and programming at Penn State Career Services. “These workshops help students develop a strategy for their career fair experience, making a large event more effective and manageable.”

The Resume Review workshop will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11, where students can have their resumes reviewed by employers attending Fall Career Days. This is a great opportunity for students to get feedback on their resumes from recruiters before the career fair.
