Financial literacy expert to present 'Own Your Money, Own Your Life'

Adi Redzic is an entrepreneur, author and success coach

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Adi Redzic, entrepreneur, financial literacy expert, CEO and success coach will present "Own Your Money, Own Your Life" at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, in Foster Auditorium, 102 Paterno Library. Following the event, light refreshments will be available in Mann Assembly Room, 103 Paterno Library.

Redzic, the author of "Own It: A Practical Guide to Defying the Odds and Claiming Your Life," will talk about a number of important topics, including money management tricks and how to take responsibility for and achieve your own well-being.

Students are encouraged to attend this event organized by Lauren Reiter, business librarian, and made possible by the Sally W. Kalin Early Career Librarianship for Learning Innovations Endowment in the Penn State University Libraries.

Redzic's journey is particularly fascinating as he left the war-torn Balkans as a teenager determined to pursue his version of the American dream. He graduated from St. Norbert College debt-free and spent his early career as a community organizer in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

He completed his graduate degree at Loyola University Chicago, after which he was instrumental in developing the iOme Challenge — a national movement committed to raising awareness about financial security among college students. Most recently, he has been involved with Think Change, a global coaching, consulting and training hub.

Free copies of his book will be raffled. For more information, or if you anticipate needing physical accommodations or have questions about access, contact Reiter at 814-865-4414 or lmr29@psu.edu.

Redzic's talk will focus on how young people can take control of their lives through money management and personal responsibility. Credit: Adi RedzicAll Rights Reserved.
