UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — As part of Global Programs' commitment to promoting Penn State's vision of being a truly global university — the Global Penn State — travel grant opportunities are available as added resources and support to assist with the internationalization of Penn State's curriculum. The committed fund consists of several grant and award initiatives available to faculty and graduate students.
- Faculty Travel Grants: Award up to $3,000 for international faculty travel to explore new short-term program opportunities or to accompany students on a new short-term program.
- Graduate Student Travel Grants: Award up to $500 for graduate students who are presenting their work at an international conference or major professional meeting outside of the United States.
- Transformational Travel Grant: A grant of up to $3,000 renewable for up to three years. Awarded for international faculty travel to develop and foster a new or existing international program that is positioned to make a substantial, long-term impact for the department, college, campus and/or University.
The travel grant application deadline is Feb. 15.
