'HerStory: Honoring Every Woman’s Journey' discussion to be held March 29

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) State College is celebrating its centennial year with programs that honor every woman’s journey. The panel discussion "HerStory: An Intergenerational Conversation of University Women Honoring Every Woman’s Journey" will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, in Mann Assembly Room E-103 of the Pattee and Paterno libraries on the University Park campus of Penn State, beginning with refreshments and networking and transitioning to a panel discussion.

The program is co-sponsored by AAUW Penn State, Penn State Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies, and two student groups, AAUW of Penn State and Triota.

Stories have been shared in every culture as a means of entertainment, education, cultural preservation and to instill moral values. A discussion moderated by Penn State Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies Professor Alicia Decker features an intergenerational panel of university women including a current undergraduate student, graduate student, faculty member and Penn State retiree.
