'How to Plan a Class Session' the focus of Schreyer Institute workshop Jan. 15

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence will present a free workshop titled “How to Plan a Class Session” from noon to 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15, in 315 Rider Building at University Park.

When planning to lead a class session, it's important to make sure that student learning objectives have been clearly identified. The workshop, facilitated by Wideline Seraphin and Sara Cavallo, will explore how to create good learning objectives and how to make sure teaching and assessment strategies line up with those objectives.
