Induction ceremony held for TriBeta Society

Twelve students and faculty were inducted into the Lambda Gamma Beta chapter of TriBeta on Friday, Feb. 6 in the Slep Student Center. Six new members were inducted into the Lambda Gamma Beta chapter of TriBeta as well as one graduate member, one associate member, and four new officers. The event was well attended by students, biology faculty, and friends and family.

TriBeta is a society for students, particularly undergraduates, dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research.

This was the second induction ceremony held for the the society, which is in its first year at Penn State Altoona.

Inductees are Brittany Reed, Teresa Sirnic, Gabrielle Schusler, Chloe Deng, Victoria Gould, Paul Armstrong, Laura Palmer, Macy Guisto, Victoria Daub, Ariana Henderson, Bethann MacKanick and Marylena Mizerak.
