ERIE, Pa. -- The top portfolio managers for Erie Insurance Group will discuss their strategy for managing the company’s $15 billion in assets when the Black School of Business Finance Speaker Series at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, resumes Nov. 13.
Erie Insurance Group's Brad Postema, senior vice president and chief investment officer, and Ron Habursky, vice president and senior portfolio manager, will explain their analytical approach, which involves asset-liability matching. They also will provide real-world examples of frontier analysis within the context of an investment portfolio.
Postema is responsible for portfolio strategy and investments for Erie Insurance Group, which has more than 4 million customers in 12 states. He previously worked at GE Asset Management and at GE’s Employers Reinsurance, where he coordinated $90 billion in assets.
Habursky manages Erie Insurance’s common stock and alternative investment portfolios, which include $5 billion in assets. He is a CFA charter-holder.
Their presentation, which will begin at 7 p.m. in room 180 of the Jack Burke Research and Economic Development Center, 5101 Jordan Road, is free and open to the public. Free parking will be available in the deck behind Burke Center, off Technology Drive.
