'The Life of a Sexual Assault Case': Best practices for advocates and litigators

CARLISLE, Pa. — Registration is open for "The Life of a Sexual Assault Case: Best Practices for Advocates and Litigators," a CLE co-hosted by Dickinson Law’s Criminal Law Society and Women’s Law Caucus from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, March 31, in the Apfelbaum Family Courtroom and Auditorium, Lewis Katz Hall, Dickinson Law.

Taught by experienced professionals in prosecution, criminal defense, the judiciary, law enforcement and victim advocacy, this program will examine a sexual assault case from initial criminal investigation through sentencing and its aftermath. Attendees will also have an opportunity to network over breakfast and lunch.

This program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 5.0 hours of substantive law, practice and procedure. Attorneys seeking credit in states other than Pennsylvania will be provided with a uniform certificate of attendance to self-report to their bars.

Registration is free for students. Those seeking CLE credit from outside the Dickinson Law community may register for a fee of $30, which includes 5.0 hours of CLE credit, program materials, breakfast and lunch.
