      New Kensington event to 'launch' students, recent alumni to success

      NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. — Current Penn State New Kensington students and recent graduates are invited to register for and attend the annual campus Leader Launch event, which will be held from noon to 5:30 p.m. on March 18.

      This year's event will be held locally in downtown New Kensington amidst current revitalization efforts in the city. Participants will take part in career and professional development breakout sessions, as well as be able to learn from Penn State alumni through networking and the always-popular "Young Alumni Panel," which features recent campus graduates sharing their experiences and offering career advice. Lunch, refreshments and transportation to and from the downtown is included. Ticket costs for current students are waived thanks to a generous donation from the Penn State New Kensington Alumni Society.
