New Kensington prepares for fall 2021 commencement

Dec. 18 ceremony to also be livestreamed

NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. — Penn State New Kensington will honor its fall 2021 graduates on Saturday, Dec. 18, during a 10 a.m. ceremony in the campus' Forum Theatre.

The in-person ceremony will follow current University COVID-19 policies, including required masking indoors by all graduates and attendees regardless of vaccination status. A livestream option will also be available.

Brian Jacob, president and owner of WESTARM Home Health and WESTARM Therapy Services, will deliver the commencement address. Jacobs' companies, which he has owned since 1991, provide physical and occupational therapy within eight outpatient centers, athletic trainer services to student-athletes and pediatric rehabilitation programs for local school districts. He is also the author of "Is Life Fair: Tragedy to Triumph." Brian earned his bachelor of science in psychology and master of science in healthcare administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
