Nov. 6 Hankin Lecture to focus on housing finance reform

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Kent Colton, president of the Colton Housing Group and senior scholar at Harvard University's Joint Center for Housing Studies, will present "Framing the Future of Housing Finance: A Practical Guide for Reform" at 4 p.m. Nov. 6 at the Nittany Lion Inn's Ballrooms D and E.

The event, free and open to the public, is part of the Hankin Distinguished Lecture Series.

Colton will discuss the benefits of the current housing finance system, as well as the issues leading to the nation's financial crisis and the lessons learned from the recession.
