ABINGTON, Pa. — “When will Penn State Abington offer an MBA program?” has been a recurring question heard from the surrounding community.

You asked, we listened, and now we are excited to answer, “Fall of 2018.”

Through the Penn State Great Valley School of Graduate Professional Studies, individuals looking to accelerate their career paths can earn their MBA right here at Abington.

Designed specifically for working adults who want to complete the degree on a part-time basis, courses are presented in a flexible format. Classes meet one night a week on campus from 6 to 9 p.m., either face-to-face or via video conferencing, with additional online coursework. Seven-week terms allow students to focus on one course at a time and still complete the program in fewer than three years.

Premier faculty combine their research with business enterprise expertise to give students a valuable and innovative classroom experience. 

The curriculum is designed to equip professionals with the intellectual and practical tools to run organizations, articulate a vision, and motivate colleagues and employees. The applications-oriented program explores real-world issues through case studies, projects, simulations, and guest lecturers who are leaders in business and industry.

The MBA program is fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International, a standing earned by less than 5 percent of the world's business programs.
