Penn State Altoona invites the public to fall Student Showcase

ALTOONA, Pa. — The public is invited to the Penn State Altoona Student Showcase on Friday, Dec. 13, at the Devorris Downtown Center.

See firsthand how Penn State Altoona students are using knowledge from the classroom to enhance many organizations’ operations, products and services. Students will present in the areas of business, electro-mechanical engineering technology (EMET), security and risk analysis, and entrepreneurship. Many will also participate in the Pechter Business Plan Competition.

Student presentations run from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. EMET project demonstrations will take place from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Ralph and Helen Force Advanced Technology Center on the Ivyside campus. Lunch will be provided at noon at the Altoona LaunchBox supported by the Hite family.
