Penn State Brandywine now offering MBA program

MEDIA, Pa. — Penn State Brandywine now offers a master of business administration (MBA) program on its campus through the Penn State Great Valley School of Graduate Professional Studies.

Applications are now being accepted for fall 2018.  Prospective students can learn more about the program at upcoming information webinars that will be held on May 3 at 5 p.m. and May 17 at noon. To register for a webinar or obtain more information, contact Margaret Bacheler, director of continuing education, at bw-ce@psu.edu or 610-892-1300.

Designed specifically for working adults who want to complete a degree on a part-time basis without career interruption, courses are presented in a flexible format at the Brandywine campus, with classes meeting one night a week from 6-9 p.m. either face-to-face or via live state-of-the-art video conferencing. Additional coursework is done online.

Rather than semesters, courses are offered in seven-week terms to allow students to concentrate on one course at a time. Students can expect to complete the MBA program at the Brandywine campus in less than three years.

The curriculum is designed to equip professionals with the intellectual and practical tools to run organizations, articulate a vision, and motivate colleagues and employees. Coursework integrates key areas of business, including finance, accounting, marketing, information systems, organizational behavior, leadership, international business and human resources.

The applications-oriented program explores real-world issues through case studies, projects, simulations and guest lecturers who are leaders in business and industry.

The program is fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International, a standing earned by less than 5 percent of the world's business programs.

Penn State Brandywine is located at 25 Yearsley Mill Road in Media.
