UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Human resources professionals in Pennsylvania can take advantage of a special educational opportunity from the Penn State Smeal College of Business, in two locations this spring.
Penn State Executive Programs, the executive education provider within Smeal, has been approved by the Society for Human Resource Management to offer the SHRM Exam Prep Course.
This exam review helps prepare individuals for the Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certifications. This certification has recently been awarded accreditation by the Buros Center for Testing, a pronouncement that the HR credentials meet the highest standards in testing.
Using the 2017 SHRM Learning System, content is delivered in a convenient model that blends in-class sessions with instructor-led webinars.
The classes start on March 25 and end on May 20 with two all-day, in-person classes. In between, 2.5-hour webinars are held on Tuesday evenings. Participants may choose from one or two locations in State College or Pittsburgh.
