LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. — Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus inducted 45 students into Pi Sigma Phi, the campus honor society, in a ceremony attended by friends and family on April 5.
Eligible students earned a grade-point average of at least 3.5 and completed at least 30 credits of coursework. Founded in 1987, Pi Sigma Phi promotes and encourages “higher standards of learning and high scholastic attainment.”
“Pi Sigma Phi recognizes the hard work that our students put in to their studies as they prepare for their careers,” said Lindsey Simon-Jones, program coordinator for English and Liberal Arts and Studies. “It offers them a valuable network of past and present Fayette students which they can rely on in their future endeavors.”
