HARRISBURG, Pa. — Penn State Harrisburg recognized outstanding employee contributions at the 2017 Faculty and Staff Recognition Program on March 30. Nominated by the college community and selected by various award committees, several faculty and staff members received awards.
Award recipients included:
- Peter Idowu (Middletown, Pennsylvania), assistant dean for Graduate Studies and professor of electrical engineering, School of Science, Engineering, and Technology — Excellence in Research and Scholarly Activity Award
- Ray Gibney (East Berlin, Pennsylvania), associate professor of management, School of Business Administration — Excellence in Teaching Award
- Ozge Aybat (State College, Pennsylvania), assistant professor of marketing, School of Business Administration — Excellence in Advising Award
- Raffy Luquis (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania), associate professor of health education, School of Behavioral Sciences and Education — Faculty Service Award
- Laurie Dobrosky (York, Pennsylvania), associate director, Alumni Relations — Staff Service Award
- Jayne Miller (New Cumberland, Pennsylvania), administrative support coordinator, Office of Admissions — Staff Service Award
- Marissa Harrison (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania), associate professor of psychology, School of Behavioral Sciences and Education — Faculty Diversity Award
- Louisa Nkrumah (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania), instructional designer, Faculty Center — Staff Diversity Award
- Robin Redmon Wright (Middletown, Pennsylvania), assistant professor of lifelong learning and education, School of Behavioral Sciences and Education — Kathryn Towns Women’s History Month Award
