UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Learning will reopen its doors for tutoring on Monday, June 11, at its offices in 220 Boucke Building.
Neill Johnson, director of Penn State Learning, said undergraduate students at University Park will enjoy the facility upgrades while getting help for their courses.
“I am pleased that our tutoring lab is newly air-conditioned just in time for the eight-week math courses and the last two weeks of the first summer session,” Johnson said. “Our tutors and the students who visit them will be very happy about this as well."
Johnson also announced new Study Smarter workshops slated for July 10-12 and 17-19.
“Anyone who wants metacognition-based advice on studying would benefit from this workshop and should follow the registration instructions in our homepage announcement,” he said.
Penn State Learning is an undergraduate tutoring center and offers services already covered by student tuition. PSL offers both one-on-one and group tutoring. The tutors — who are themselves students — work closely with faculty to make sure they’re using up-to-date curricula.
